As a payroll software provider, Odoobot.com is a data intermediary when handling information on behalf of its clients. A Data Intermediary (“DI”) is defined as an organisation that processes personal data on behalf of another organisation but does not include an employee of that other organisation. A DI that processes personal data on behalf of and for the purposes of another organisation pursuant to a contract which is evidenced or made in writing will only be subject to the Data Protection and Retention Limitation Obligations of the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”).
Odoobot.com conducts its own evaluation to best ensure the necessary obligations are met.
